Laidley Community Centre Inc. operates a number of support services in the local area including our social enterprise café, ‘Community Grounds’. We are looking for the right person to join our team as a shift supervisor/barista on a casual basis with a minimum of 1 day a week and periods of leave cover. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the cafe with the support of a great team and under the direction of the community centre manager. You will be responsible for training and supervising school-based trainees and other youth and helping to make community connections.
The right person for the role will be reliable, honest, driven, pay attention to detail and have good communication, leadership and people skills – and of course, make great coffee!
Ability to work Mondays 6:30am – 2:30pm and some Saturdays is essential. Ability to cover other occasional weekdays as needed is desirable
